Happy New Year !!!
Someone anonymous has commented, and reminded me that I have a blog. As much as I would like to update it, I am not doing it. Since I update my flickr more frequently, I thought blogging through flickr would be good.
The picture posted here is the one which I shot for a photo competition about marina bay 2009-2010 countdown and fireworks. The whole place was packed with thousands of people to witness and enjoy the fireworks display at marina bay countdown 2010 at Singapore. It was so hard to find a good spot to stand & mount my tripod as early as 9:00 PM, about 3 hours before the count down ! I had to spend about 33 SGD to get into this place in the floating stadium.
It was all worth it, I would say. The Fireworks display on New Year Eve was spectacular !!! My Eyes and Mind were filled with the Excellent display of colorful lights and brilliant patterns on the sky. Those 10 minutes were so joyous with no other thoughts. Let us hope that 2010 is as joyous as those 10 minutes !
I wish everyone a great 2010 !!!
(PS : I have given this to be printed on a 10R to hang it in my new apartment's wall. Awaiting ! Not sure If I will win any in that competition, but this one will hang pretty ! )
